Avanade Inc. was founded in April 2000 as a joint venture between Microsoft Corp. and Accenture. As a global provider of Microsoft-based technology consulting services, Avanade is committed to providing world-class, mission-critical systems and solutions to its customers around the world. In our efforts to fulfill this mission, our team has grown to include more than 8,000 people serving more than 2,900 companies worldwide. Our global headquarters is in Seattle, Washington.

Today, Avanade is a closely-held company. Our shareholders include our two founding companies and our employees and former employees. Avanade's public reporting obligations were suspended on July 1, 2008.
