Avanade Inc. was founded in April 2000 as a joint venture between Microsoft Corp. and Accenture. As a global provider of Microsoft-based technology consulting services, Avanade is committed to providing world-class, mission-critical systems and solutions to its customers around the world. In our efforts to fulfill this mission, our team has grown to include more than 8,000 people serving more than 2,900 companies worldwide. Our global headquarters is in Seattle, Washington.

Today, Avanade is a closely-held company. Our shareholders include our two founding companies and our employees and former employees. Avanade's public reporting obligations were suspended on July 1, 2008. Avanade’s filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) prior to that date, including the annual report for the 2007 fiscal year (Form 10-KT) and quarterly report (Form 10-Q) filed April 14, 2008, can be found online on the SEC’s Electronic Data Gathering, Analysis, and Retrieval (EDGAR) database. Avanade and its employees worldwide are committed to the highest standards of ethical conduct. Our Code of Business Ethics emphasizes critical areas particular to our organization and business model while highlighting aspects of conduct that are imperative for all employees, our directors and independent contractors. Key sections address customers and the marketplace, professional conduct, and our role as a local and global citizen.

This Code of Business Ethics is reviewed and updated periodically. In 2008, it was updated to reflect certain changes in our business, as well as to update certain links and references.
