Burley leads Avanade’s global product and solution management organization. This includes responsibilities for identifying and incubating new products and solutions; proposing new business cases to drive return on investment; managing the portfolio of software IP throughout the product lifecycle; and aligning Avanade's product strategy with geographic areas, sales, marketing, engineering and strategic partners. Burley previously has held senior leadership roles at both Microsoft and Accenture. He had product management responsibilities within Microsoft’s Server and Tools Business, including ownership of services within the Windows Azure cloud platform; Microsoft’s middleware portfolio (including BizTalk Server and Windows Server application server product lines); and the .NET Framework and developer technologies. Burley spent eight years at Accenture in its Communication & High Tech industry practice, with responsibility for leading market offering strategy/execution for middleware offerings. Burley was also CTO and VP of E-business at Equarius, one of the premier Microsoft Gold Certified partners in the Pacific Northwest.
