Since March, each Business line computes, collects and consolidates data from different horizons (Financial, marketing, operational, people…) and reports/discusses the evolution on a monthly basis with Business CEO, Fortis CEO, CFO and Deputy CEO. This process is mainly manual and requires intensive workload.
The objective of the MIS Automation project is to deploy an appropriate solution in terms of technology platform, processes and organisation to facilitate collection, storage and computation of the Key Performance Indicators (KPI) at different levels within in the organisation, based upon the user requirements of Performance Management and Business Lines themselves.
SolutionAvanade deployed a complete and flexible Business Performance Management solution based on Microsoft SQL 2005 Business Intelligence suite, Microsoft Business Scorecard 2005 and Excel Reporting ad-hoc tools.
This solution is supported by a collaborative and data management front portal based on .NET 2 and Windows Sharepoint Services.
