Business Situation

A customer of election.com needed help developing and implementing a voter registration solution. The customer required a solution that would allow the aggregation of voter registration data from more than 60 counties in a state. The customer also needed the ability to compare voter registration data against duplicate registration, death, felon, incompetency, and clemency data to determine a voter's eligibility to vote.

Solution

election.com partnered with Accenture and Avanade to develop a solution based on .NET for its customer. The solution, developed by the team, allowed the voting files to be monitored and processed into a central database through an SQL Server Data Transformation Services package. The design allowed the database to perform additional output processes through a .NET application that runs as a Windows service. The solution also encompasses an ASP.NET front-end application for the review and processing of data.
