Utilized old heavy customized Microsoft Dynamics AX solutions and did not get value for money with the premium services from existing supplier. In turn, Hitachi wanted faster delivery.
Solution
Hitachi decided to upgrade to Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009, leveraging the enhanced new functionality especially around warehouse management. Because Hitachi wanted to minimize the number of customizations they decided to review all program customizations together with business processes and usage of a more standardized AX solution.
Results
Avanade delivered the Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 upgrade, which allows Hitachi to save more than 50% on customized hours. A more streamlined solution that allows better performance and better response time in the new Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 environment. With a more efficient set up on a platform for the future together with easier access to business critical information, will secure future profit.
