Hyatt migrates from Lotus Notes to Avanade Business Productivity Online Suite BOPS based on Microsoft Online Solution to improve communication and collaboration between employees and guests
​Business Situation
​Hyatt operates over 400 global properties and provides IT services to over 350 domestic sites.  Managing a widely distributed IT infrastructure is a complex effort. Compounding the challenge is enabling corporate communications and collaboration. Striving for continued improvement in systems performance and up-time, as well as greater access to facilitate organisational collaboration, Hyatt searched for alternatives to its current mail platform..
Solution​
​After reviewing options and evaluating the market, Hyatt adopted Avanade's Business Productivity Online Suite solution based on Microsoft Online. Hyatt intends to provide 57,000 employees, including 40,000 front desk agents, housekeeping personnel and other “deskless” workers, with this communications hub. The security provided by the cloud solution, along with a guaranteed service level agreement will allow Hyatt to improve customer service.  Hyatt and Avanade are jointly migrating the domestic organisation. To provide support to Hyatt employees, Avanade will deliver value added services such as white glove support, end user change management and desktop engineering.
​Results

Hyatt migrated from Lotus Notes to Microsoft Online Services in just a few short months with the help of Avanade. While still early in the deployment, they anticipate many tangible benefits.
