Business Situation
Raising funds to research a cure for multiple sclerosis is a work-intensive task for the MS Society, Queensland. Its main fund raising event is the MS MoonWalk – a 10km evening stroll around Brisbane. The MS Society approached Avanade to design and develop a cost-effective and efficient event management system to promote and manage its annual MoonWalk event.

Solution
Avanade developed a web-based Event Management System which provides the following functionality:

• The ability to manage short-term or long-term campaigns
• Direct access for the MS Society to update content
• Online registration and confirmation response
• Ability to receive/process credit card payments/donations securely online
• An interactive game supporting viral
