Enhanced intranet, email and collaboration helps company reorganization

Business Situation

​Nykredit is one of Denmark's leading financial services providers. The company wanted to implement its vision of an advanced collaboration platform to replace its existing Lotus Notes® infrastructure and to support a company reorganisation.

Solution

​Avanade migrated IBM Lotus Notes and Sametime® using Microsoft ® software including Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007, Office Communications Server 2007 R2 and Exchange Server 2007. Avanade also implemented a new intranet site.

Results

​The migration was completed on budget and ahead of the original schedule so that it could coincide with the company reorganisation. The result has been improved collaboration and communication, and wide acceptance of the new software, thanks to its commonality with other familiar Microsoft applications.
