The advent of new uniform food safety standards across the whole of Australia and New Zealand has brought about a change in the way SFQ will carry out its licensing, audit and enforcement on the Food Safety Act. SFQ required a solution that would automate a primarily paper-based system and minimize data re-entry and duplication; rapidly and accurately identify the source of contaminated product, and track this product through the food chain; ensure a cost effective method of capturing data remotely and provide audit reports and invoices to clients immediately after completion of the audit; provide the ability to share audit data between regulatory agencies such as Queensland Health, the Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service (AQIS) and the Department of Primary Industries.
