Business Situation
Currently TRUMPF is using MS Windows NT 4.0 for desktops and Windows 2000 for laptops equipped with Office 97.

Since the rollout of Office 97, many Office documents and Office applications were created. TRUMPF headquarters alone owns around 5 million Office documents. The number of decentrally developed applications is unknown. For a reliable migration to proceed, detailed planning information about the current Office infrastructure is essential.
