Business Situation
Groupama Seguros was looking to revamp its IT infrastructure in order to reduce cost and improve customer service and productivity. It was also looking for its IT infrastructure to support and drive better internal processes. To support these goals, Groupama Seguros decided to move from its legacy AS/400 systems to a WEB platform (front and backend systems).

Solution
Avanade performed a web platform analysis at the customers request. The preferred solution is to build on a Microsoft platform because of its ease of implementation, its reliability and scalability. It was also the lowest cost solution and had the advantage of being relatively easy to train staff. Avanade is now helping Groupama to move on to a Windows 2000 platform
