Business Situation

The application is intended to help reduce the cost of corporate recruiting, while enabling companies to realize efficiencies in candidate selection and geographic diversity. This application will provide a video delivery system where perspective employers can view candidate videos, and recruiter and candidate can compose and manage those videos.

Solution

• Flashvue has a patent pending video delivery application that will provide recruiters with video recording and viewing facilities to assist them in hiring job applicants. This application will provide video profiles and or interviews of perspective candidates, through the company’s consumer website.
• Flashvue made a multi-million dollar investment and secured a development team from Avanade to help them envision a technology solution, establish criteria for the Video Recruiting application, and ensure that the final application was both sustainable and aligned with their business objectives.
• The Video Recruiting software is a web-based application built on the Microsoft .NET platform. It is supported by Microsoft SQL Server for database management and transaction processing. Additionally, the application uses the Digital Rights Management technology for encryption to protect the privacy and integrity of each individual’s personal video. This is accomplished through the Microsoft Windows Rights Management suite in conjunction with the an in-house License Server that processes and delivers user licenses in real-time. License Server delivers licenses on the fly – to decrypt user data and providing authorized access to the data for a short period of time.

• Establish "studio in a box", a patent-pending, video capturing, kiosk located in recruiter’s offices
