​Business Situation

Vewin had started a pilot programme to compare the performance of European water companies and required a web-based tool to facilitate data entry and simplify reporting.

Solution Avanade used Microsoft SharePoint®  2003 to host the tool.  Vewin was already using this application, so the solution provided by Avanade would be easy to use, of high quality and cost-effective.       

Results The resulting system was deployed without any issues and proved very stable.  The different water companies found the tool very easy to use – it was immediately obvious to the users how to use the system.  As a result, no extensive  instructions or training was required.
