Chris Miller, Chief Information Officer at
Avanade, a global business technology solutions and managed services provider, has been named a Premier 100 IT Leader for 2012 by IDG’s Computerworld. Miller was honored with the lifetime recognition for consistently building strong teams that push technology boundaries to better support today’s complex business demands.
Miller has been at the forefront of Avanade’s priority initiatives in the areas of datacenter virtualization and enterprise collaboration. He was further acknowledged for leading his team to effectively execute key IT strategies that address some of today’s toughest business challenges.
As Avanade’s Chief Information Officer, Miller is responsible for the leadership, management, and implementation of the technology capabilities that power the company’s 13,000 professionals across more than 20 countries. Miller joined Avanade after 16 years at Accenture, where he served as a senior business leader for Accenture’s Collaboration 2.0 program. In this role, he oversaw a multi-year initiative to empower 180,000 global employees with next-generation collaboration capabilities. His earlier experience spans a wide range of technology and consulting functions, focused on leveraging Microsoft technology on a true enterprise scale at Accenture.
