As Avanade’s Chief Information Officer, Chris is responsible for the leadership, management, and implementation of the technology capabilities that power the company’s 12,000 employees across more than 20 countries. Chris champions IT as the fabric that connects Avanade’s innovative business thinkers, technical subject matter experts, and transformative technology solutions. This fabric of people, tools and ideas enables the company to deliver large-scale solutions to its customers in every major industry.
Chris is a trusted advisor both inside and outside the company. Chris and his team work closely with Microsoft to maintain Avanade’s role as an aggressive early adopter of Microsoft enterprise technologies. He regularly shares first-hand experience and insights about deployments with customers to help them optimize their own operations.
Chris joined Avanade after 16 years at Accenture, where he served as a senior director for Accenture’s Collaboration 2.0 program. In this role, he oversaw a multi-year initiative to enable 180,000 global employees with next-generation collaboration capabilities. Chris’ prior experience spans a wide range of technology and consulting functions, focused on leveraging Microsoft technology on a true enterprise scale at Accenture. Chris was a technology architect in Accenture’s Products Operating Group, directing large solution-oriented projects for global retail and pharmaceutical clients.
