Mike Gilkey
Executive Vice President; North America Dynamics AX Service Line
As Executive Vice President, North Americas Dynamics AX Service Line, Mike oversees the company priorities of growing Avanade’s Dynamics AX business in North Americas.
Mike joined Avanade in 2000, and his responsibilities during his eight years with the company included serving as Vice President of North Americas Market Development and General Manager for Avanade’s Western U.S. Region. Prior to joining Avanade, Mike was at Accenture where he managed large customer projects primarily within the Products and Communications and High-Tech industries. These efforts included Enterprise Resource Planning implementations (involving products such as SAP, PeopleSoft and Baan), developing IT strategies, and large custom development projects.
Mike received his Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Washington and his Master's in Business Administration from Columbia University.
Dean Olmstead
Senior Vice President; Canada Operating Unit
Dean is responsible for all of Avanade’s business in Canada. Prior to this role, Dean served as Vice President of North Americas Market Development and Sales Strategy, overseeing Avanade North Americas’ vertical solutions and alliance alignment with Accenture and Microsoft.
Prior to joining Avanade, Dean spent over 18 years with Accenture where he was a Partner in the Communications & High Tech Industry group. Dean worked on delivering customer projects to the communications industry primarily focused on large custom development implementations in the Customer Care and Billing area. Dean also was responsible for one of Accenture’s mobility labs and helped drive the incubation of this technology in the enterprise.
Dean has a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematical Economics from Pomona College.
Samih Fadli
Chief Technology Officer, Senior Vice President North America
 As the North America CTO and Service Lines Executive, Samih drives the North America Technology Innovation Program, Solutions and GTM Strategy while working in synergy with our Global Innovation Team for Software & Cloud Services, Accenture and Microsoft. He also heads up the North America Advisory Services Group that focuses solely in providing high end and strategic business/technology advisory, strategy and planning services to Avanade’s top customers to help them achieve their most challenging business and organizational goals while leveraging value from their current and future investment in the Microsoft Platform.
Samih joined Avanade in 2011 after having served as the Head of the Architecture Consulting at Capco, where he was responsible for building and managing the integration of the Global Technology Architecture Team within the Financial Services industry domain areas and for building technology capabilities that support the strategic direction of the company, incorporating topics such as Cloud Computing, Enterprise Architecture, IT Strategy, Business Intelligence and Enterprise Portfolio Innovation.
Samih holds a Master of Science (M.Sc) in Computer Science from the Seraing Polytechnic University.
Brian Burrus
Senior Vice President of the North America Workforce
As Senior Vice President of the North Americas Workforce, Brian is responsible for the 1,500+ consultants in our North Americas business. He and his team work closely with the sales and account management teams to ensure that we deliver on the commitments we make to customers, providing excellence and value on all our engagements in the US and Canada.
Brian joined Avanade in 2000; during his 11 years with the company he’s served in a variety of roles included working on the team that launched Avanade’s global network infrastructure, serving as Lead of our US South Region infrastructure practice and eventually leading all practices in the South region. Prior to Avanade he worked for Andersen Consulting and was a manager in Network Solutions practice. Brian has worked in all major industry groups but has significant expertise with customers in resources and energy.
Brian holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from Texas A&M.
Vasuki Manur
Senior Vice President; North America Outsourcing Service Line
Vasuki is responsible for overseeing growth, delivery, and operations of the outsourcing business in Avanade North Americas. His charter includes creating client value through Microsoft-focused application and infrastructure outsourcing service offerings.
Vasuki joined Avanade in early 2011, bringing 19 years of relevant experience. He has diverse background in sales, solution-shaping, delivery, and operations in the outsourcing industry in a global delivery model.
Prior to joining Avanade, Vasuki spent five years with Accenture in the outsourcing practice in India, serving a broad portfolio of clients in the Products operating group. During his tenure, Vasuki helped establish Outsourcing Centers of Excellence in Accenture’s Global Delivery Network by integrating full life-cycle components.
Vasuki holds Bachelor’s degree in Electronics from Bangalore University.
Yoon-Sung Lee
Senior Vice President; North America CRM Service Line
 As the executive responsible for the CRM Service Line in the North Americas, Yoon leads a team focused on growing and evolving this important line of business within the North Americas organization.
Yoon assumed leadership of the North Americas CRM Service Line in early 2011, taking responsibility for a business that is on track to double in size over the course of the fiscal year. Working closely with a dedicated leadership team, his duties include guiding the overall strategic direction of the business, managing the sales team, overseeing the development of assets and solutions to take to market, and aggressively growing capacity and capability to support new lines of business.
Yoon joined Avanade in 2000 as one of the company’s first employees, and was part of the team from Accenture who helped assemble the business case to create Avanade. Over his 11 years at Avanade, he has held a variety of leadership roles across all aspects of the business from selling to leading large, complex deliveries for customers in the financial services, manufacturing, and communications and high-tech industries. He’s led large practices of consultants and been a consistent contributor to our learning and development organization. He has also led the development of assets and solutions, working to develop and deploy tools in targeted industries. A technologist at heart, Yoon enjoys the challenge of solving business issues by applying thoughtful and innovative technology solutions.
Yoon has a B.S. in Computer Science from Oregon State University.
Jack Dreiss
Corporate Vice President, North America Chief Operating Officer
 Jack develops the strategy and leads the operations for Avanade’s Global Delivery Network in the North Americas, which includes a variety of different workforces located in delivery centers across the US and Canada.
Jack is a veteran leader with more than 30 years in the consulting industry managing complex multi-national audits, business consulting and technology related projects. Jack joined Avanade in 2003 as Account Executive. In 2004 he became Chief Delivery Officer for the North Americas and in 2005, assumed additional responsibility as General Manager for the North Americas Delivery Network. Prior to Avanade, Jack spent 27 years at Arthur Andersen, serving organizations in various industries. In addition, he was responsible for the Assurance Technology and Knowledge Management organization serving Arthur Andersen’s 70,000 partners and employees around the world.
Jack has Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Accounting, and is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified System Auditor.
Jerry Reiss
Corporate Vice President, Operating Unit Executive, US East
 Jerry is responsible for the growth of Avanade’s business in the Eastern United States, and together with his team, is focused on establishing long-term relationships with customers across the geography.
Prior to his current role, Jerry oversaw North Americas’ sales, marketing and alliance relationships, as well as customer acquisition, growth and client satisfaction across the U.S. and Canada. He joined Avanade in 2007 to lead sales in the Central Region, and was promoted to General Manager after securing a number of high profile customers and driving high customer satisfaction.
Prior to joining Avanade, Jerry held various positions leading sales, channel and services organizations over 13 years at Microsoft, most recently as the U.S. General Manager for Consulting Services and Support for the financial services industry.
Jerry earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with High Honors in Administrative Computer Systems from Hofstra University in NY, and has completed executive training at MIT and Harvard Universities.
Richard Stern
Corporate Vice President, Operating Unit Executive, US West
As Corporate VP of the US West Operating Unit, Rich Stern leads Avanade’s sales operations within the Western United States. He and his team are responsible for driving the West Operating Unit’s sales, revenue, and profitability and establishing and strengthening our relationship to customers in that geography. Rich transitioned into this role in 2010 after leading the North Americas Service Line organization, which manages Avanade’s team of consultants who shape and deliver customer projects across the North Americas.
A veteran IT leader, Rich has more than 25 years of consulting and business experience. He joined Avanade from Resolute where, as the President and Chief Operating Officer, he was responsible for setting strategic direction and overseeing day-to-day operations. Prior to joining Resolute, Rich worked for Hewlett-Packard following HP’s acquisition of Extreme Logic, where he managed the Enterprise Application Services business. Rich also spent six years at Microsoft as the General Manager of the Industry Solutions Group – managing its P&L – and as Director for the East Region and Practice Manager of Microsoft's NY Metro Consulting Services Group with a focus on financial services. Before his tenure at Microsoft, Rich held various positions with Sybase, Oracle and Cullinet Software, as well as running his own consulting firm.
Rich has a Bachelor's of Science in Marketing from Saint John's University. He and his wife, Carol, and their three daughters live in Northern California.
Craig Wood
Corporate Vice President, North America Service Lines, NAGDN & Delivery
Craig is responsible for the management of all North America Service Lines, the Office of Delivery, and the North America workforces (NAGDN). His strong technical and business acumen enables him to ensure that the company maintains close alignment and a consistent approach in North America across all Service Lines and workforces.
Prior to his current role, Craig served as the Operating Unit Executive for Avanade’s business in the Eastern United States. He previously served as the General Manager for the U.S. South Region, and spent five years managing Avanade’s .NET practice in the Western United States in the early 2000s. Before joining Avanade in August 2000, Craig was with Accenture, working as a technical architect, guiding numerous projects for Fortune 100 customers in the Products and Communications & High-Tech industries.
Craig has a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Tennessee.
