Career development
At Avanade, we provide a well-defined path for growth through our Career Advancement Model. This model is structured around creating specific goals, assessment, performance reviews, and mentoring—all based on Avanade core values. 
 
To help facilitate forward momentum, we have identified four distinct stages in our consultants’ career paths (Analyst, Consultant, Manager, Director) with nine core roles within those stages. With a focus on transparency, we help our people understand what needs to be learned and achieved to reach their desired roles and empower them to propel their careers where they want them to go.
 
Every employee receives guidance regarding how to advance to the next level, and is provided all the training they need right at their fingertips.
 
Training at Avanade University
Avanade has a culture of learning. According to Microsoft, we have one of the highest levels of Microsoft certifications outside of Microsoft itself.
 
At the heart of our training program is the Avanade University, an online hub for employees to access the training they need anytime, anywhere. Our consultants spend an average of 80 hours per year on education: technical training, management training, language education, and more. Every employee is provided an individual roadmap of training and education goals.
