Achmea needed to quickly react to the fast changing insurance market. To be able to do this, Achmea had to rethink and refactor the software development processes that were used to facilitate the development and updates to the internal, as well as the external web application. To be able to do that, they had to streamline all of theirs .NET development under one Software Factory and under one development methodology.

Solution

Avanade helped Achmea implement the Software Factory based on Visual Studio Team System and Team Foundation Server. In addition, Avanade's asset, ACA Lifecycle, was used to bring even higher value to the implementation of the Software Factory.
