Prior to engaging with Avanade and Microsoft, Bailey House was using aging Novell technology with limited functionality. They desired a uniform platform that could support new systems and legacy applications. Employees needed internal collaboration and file-sharing services as well as improved external communication capabilities. Bailey House’s IT staff wanted central file storage, improved data protection, and simplified process for deploying new software and system updates throughout the organization.
As Grand Prize Winner of Avanade/Microsoft’s “Xtreme Techover” Contest, Bailey House was awarded the Microsoft technology and Avanade consulting services it needed to solve its IT problems. Avanade delivered the solution using the following technology:
Microsoft Windows Server 2003
