The Information Workers within Contiga are situated in various locations and often work outside of the office. Contiga wanted to provide the workforce including the switchboard with better tools to reach colleagues in various locations and also communicate more effectively. In the long-term the desired outcome is to integrate their IT and telephony platforms.
SolutionContiga decided to undertake an implementation of Microsoft Office Communication Server (OCS) 2007 R2. Avanade was responsible for designing, deploying OCS R2 and coordinated with the company’s IT team to maintain security and other needs throughout the project.
The solution is extendable to ease later integration with telephone system.
