Avanade’s Lean Automotive solution, leveraging the power of Microsoft Axapta, is being deployed to optimize manufacturing business processes with the objectives of:

• Eliminating waste in processes and administration
• Increasing throughput
• Improving service levels
• Reducing inventory within their operations and across their supply chain
• Establishing a flexible business platform to support continuous improvement

This system will support direct delivery of demand to a cell, electronic Kanban throughout the supply chain, production leveling, and sequenced electronic integration (EDI and Web) with Haldex customers and suppliers, operating seamlessly with all of the other ERP capabilities.

Haldex believes the implementation of Axapta and Lean Automotive for Axapta supports their vision and fundamental commitment to achieving world class productivity while developing their employees’ competence and creativity. Deployment will include full production rollout of 200+ concurrent Axapta users in North America to one customer service and administrative center, two distribution centers, and 7 plants.
