A continually expanding logistics company, MRW needed its IT systems to be capable of providing operational information immediately and be adaptable to new business requirements.  This would enable interdepartmental integration and guarantee efficiency, standardisation and a single data repository.

Solution
MRW engaged Avanade to implemented Dynamics AX™, replacing the host systems with an ERP system that enabled integration of the processes used in the various departments. Using Microsoft Dynamics AX 4.0 and SQL Server 2005, Avanade built modules for accounting and finance, clients, suppliers, banks, purchasing and sales. 

Results
Avanade has provided MRW with an ERP solution which is meeting all of their demands.  The system has standardised processes and operations, and is integrated with all departments, ensuring consistent and accurate information is available.  Having this corporate vision has increased operational efficiency and helps users in making effective decisions
