General Solar Systems’ (their products branded SONNENKRAFT) wanted to improve their online multi-country presence and was looking for a solution to be able to rebrand their sites (15 countries) with high quality but at a low cost. The solution also needed to serve as a strong foundation for future online growth.

Working with General Solar Systems, Avanade and Accenture developed a multi-country website using Sitecore Web Content Management deployed on Microsoft Windows Azure internet cloud technology. Avanade and Accenture developed the site using a mix of onshore and offshore team.

By utilizing a world-class web management system from Sitecore, Avanade and Accenture have delivered a high quality multi-national website at a low cost to General Solar Systems with great scope for future enhancements.
In order to support the vision for future growth, a solution was devised by Avanade and Accenture based on a Microsoft Windows Azure platform. This solution combines the benefits of rapid deployment and low-cost hosting with the ability to handle high traffic volume on websites that can easily have their content updated during campaigns.
