Business Situation
When Scandinavian Brake Systems moved to Microsoft Dynamics™ AX, it meant a departure from the module system used in their current ERP system, which, up to that point, had been used to handle customer complaints, internal nonconformities, supplier nonconformities and lot inspections. An initial project was set in motion, with the aim to survey the market for potential suppliers who could provide a solution to manage all of the requirements in these areas.

Solution
Avanade, working closely with SBS A/S (Aktieselskab – Danish name for a stock-based corporation), developed a system to replace the client’s previous ERP system. Acknowledging the fact that the automotive industry generally lacks Microsoft Dynamics AX-based alternatives to quality management modules which enable 8D reporting, Avanade and Scandinavian Brake Systems A/S worked jointly to develop a solution that helps them address the automotive customer requirements.

Results
SBS now has a solution which is tailored to fulfil the specific requirements for the automotive industry.
