Solution
Based on SembCorp Utilities' business needs, Avanade implemented Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server as the platform for its corporate portal, and Exchange Server 2000 for unified management of messaging, collaboration and network resources.

Results
SembCorp Utilities employees have a central repository for better document management, an integrated time and date management function for appointments, and a document approval process that will further enhance administration and productivity. The solution offers search capabilities, by categories and properties, and allows for personalized department and individual web-pages. Employees can also publish news and announcements on the Intranet.
