Business Situation
SITA’s win of an 8-year Brisbane City Council contract (BCC) created the need for a system that would allow SITA and BCC to communicate seamlessly and accurately. SITA required Avanade to design and develop a flexible communication tool that was accessible to both SITA and BCC call centres and managed the specific service level agreements of the contract.
Solution
The tool Avanade developed to address this need is the SITA Extranet. The extranet is used as a communication tool to manage enquiries sent through from customers (BCC ratepayers), to track the life cycle of these enquiries and produce dynamically generated reports based on the information gathered by the extranet.
Results
The successful extranet solution has provided a single point where BCC enquiries are managed, reports viewed and documents shared.
