SolutionDesign and deliver Active Directory on a global scale covering Europe, Asia et the US. §Define and help out setting in place the global internal organization allowing the use of the news Microsoft technologies. All that with letting local administrators stay free of their actions and maintaining a global coherence. § Define the migration processes and elaborate the automation scripts associated to minimize the user impact and the administrators work. §Expertise transfer to update customer’s administration teams. §Setting up the prototype on the major SGCIB locations (still today used as homologation platform).
ResultsSuccessful migration implemented between October 2005 and June 2006, 7 people on the project with up to 300 users migrated/day, and 200 servers migrated/day. ·Thanks to the AD implementation in the expected time schedule, SGCIB observed a clear improvement of internal collaboration between the administration teams. ·AD is now for SGCIB the global reference for information sharing and system harmonization. ·Better centralized and controlled by a unique decision-taking team, the system’s security has been insured. ·The final solution with AD infrastructure responds to the design Avanade has conceived and the customer’s initial needs offering as well a stable solution.
