New system based on Microsoft Dynamics® CRM has been essential for supporting SolarTotal’s ambitious growth targets

Business Situation

​​​Dutch solar panel manufacturer, SolarTotal, needed a flexible and robust customer relationship management (CRM) system to support its future sales growth and introduce enterprise-wide workflow processes across its operations in multiple countries.

Solution

​Accenture and Avanade worked closely with SolarTotal to bring the utility’s vision for an enterprise-wide CRM solution to life. Avanade has deployed the Microsoft Dynamics CRM-based solution to SolarTotal business units in seven countries. Avanade has also introduced workflow management capabilities for the company’s end-to-end sales and fulfillment processes and configured workflows to meet country-specific regulations.

Results

​SolarTotal has a new enterprise-wide CRM solution and automated lead-to order and order-to-completion processes that support the company’s aggressive growth objectives. The solution has helped SolarTotal manage its sales, costs and resources more effectively. At the same time, the migration of the CRM system to a new data center  has lowered IT costs. SolarTotal has experienced first-hand the value of Accenture, Avanade and Microsoft’s collaboration.
