Global corporate bank improves sales, account management and reporting

Business Situation

​A major Belgian bank was in the process of reshaping and revamping its business units. Relationship managers were using multiple systems to manage each sales opportunity, and the lack of an integrated tool to manage the end-to-end sale process required manual updates and re-keying of data. Additionally, significant effort was needed to aggregate data from the disparate databases to provide sales managers with the information they wanted.

Solution

​Avanade and Microsoft Dynamics® CRM has empowered every employee to boost sales and service through automated CRM solutions. Data has been ported from the legacy system, including profits and terms and conditions, providing a 360-degree view of every customer record. Avanade worked with the client to ensure that the solution complies with all IT policies and the bank’s guidelines regarding security, design, scalability and maintenance.

Results

​The new CRM solution has helped the client accomplish sales force automation and successfully integrate existing sales support applications. Furthermore, the system has streamlined the overall sales process, and provides enhanced reporting functions. Other benefits include global account management capabilities, activity and lead management, and revenue forecasting.
