Business Situation
As a new company, I-Deal wanted to create and build a global application and IT infrastructure that would enable it to deliver ASP services. This company is the first VSP for financial institutions and brokers to manage securities issuance and deal management. Because its customers require a user-friendly, highly available, and secure method for online transactions, i-Deal needed to quickly develop a robust, scalable infrastructure and reliable environment for its business.

Solution
Avanade provided i-Deal with application and infrastructure expertise to leverage Microsoft's. NET technology to develop a global infrastructure. Working closely with Avanade, i-Deal tailored its environment to enable quick response to changing customer needs and market demands. i-Deal deployed a global architecture that included BizTalk Server, Windows 2000 Server, Windows 2000 Advanced Server, and Windows 2000 Datacenter Server. i-Deal also intends to incorporate Microsoft Operations Manager Framework to support its Web service, Website, and corporate infrastructure.
