SEATTLE – February 9, 2011 – "">Avanade®, a business technology services provider, has been recognized this year as No. 97 of the top 125 global training organizations for its employee training programs by Training Magazine. This is Avanade’s second consecutive year on the list, based on the company’s work in delivering high quality training programs to its employees. The ranking represents the ongoing success of the company’s programs and its ability to establish company-wide best practices for employee training and development.

Training Magazine’s annual Top 125 list ranks companies that have demonstrated best practices of employee-sponsored training programs for its staff. Companies are evaluated in several benchmark categories including training program and scope, tuition reimbursement programs, human resources and the connection between training and tangible business goals. More qualitative judgment looked at the level of innovation and successes of employee training programs and how strategically linked the programs were to the companies’ overall business goals.

“This recognition reinforces Avanade’s commitment to offer our customers the best-trained consultants in the industry as we deliver business results on the Microsoft platform,” said Mahnaz Javid, senior vice president of Global Learning and Development at Avanade. “Avanade knows that our employees are our company’s most valuable asset. Supporting their training and career development is a top priority and a core reason we are known as one of the best companies to work for.”

Career-long skills development is an Avanade commitment, Javid said.

”We offer best-in-class learning opportunities across technical, business and professional, delivery and people management functions through a variety of creative delivery channels, including Second Life. Avanade employees are encouraged to take advantage of the rich array of training and professional certification programs at their disposal through AvanadeU. This emphasis on continuing professional development supports each individual’s development goals and contributes to Avanade’s growth.”

The official results for Training Magazine’s 2011 Top 125 list were revealed on Feb. 7 at the Training 2011 Conference & Expo in San Diego, Calif. For more details on the award, please visit Training Magazine at
