SINGAPORE – November 1, 2013 – "">Avanade®, a global business technology solutions and managed services provider, today announced the appointment of Ian Jordan as the new Area President for Asia Pacific, as well as the appointment of Craig Dower as the lead for Avanade China’s fast growing business. Both of these appointments will help expand and scale Avanade’s presence across the Asia Pacific region to optimize the Microsoft growth potential.

Ian Jordan has been with Avanade for six years, serving most recently as executive vice president for global sales, marketing, alliances and innovation. As Area President for Asia Pacific, he will be responsible for all aspects of Avanade's business across the region, which includes Australia, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore and China. Jordan has more than 25 years in management and technology, consulting, outsourcing and local professional services businesses in the UK, US and Europe.
Craig Dower served for the past 4 ½ years in the role of Area President for Asia Pacific. In this new position, he will work closely with the Avanade China leadership team to rapidly scale Avanade’s presence in China as well as support broader efforts to scale Avanade’s Asia Pacific and global business presence building on world class Microsoft expertise. Dower also has more than 25 years of experience in the IT industry, in Australia and internationally.
Jordan and Dower take on their responsibilities immediately.
