, a global business technology solutions and managed services provider, was once again recognized by Training magazine in its ranking of the top 125 global training organizations. This year, Avanade was ranked No. 37, a considerable jump from "en-us/about/avanade-news/press-releases/Pages/Training-Magazine-2012-Award.aspx">No. 92 in 2012
, for its robust employee training programs and ongoing growth in the company’s enterprise-wide best practices for employee training and career development. It is also the fourth consecutive year Avanade has been featured on the list. Avanade was recognized during the Training 2013 Conference & Expo at the Disney World Coronado Spring Resort in Orlando, on February 18, 2013.
“Each year, Training Top 125 applicants raise the bar with the innovation, excellence and effectiveness of their training programs,” said Lorri Freifeld, editor-in-chief of Training magazine. “The 2013 Training Top 125 winners continued that trend, providing performance-driven training responses to significant challenges and achieving compelling results that tied directly to corporate strategic goals.”
Now in its thirteenth year, Training magazine’s annual Top 125 list ranks companies that have demonstrated best practices of employee-sponsored training programs for its staff. Companies are evaluated on a range of qualitative and quantitative factors, including financial investment in employee development, the scope of development programs and how closely these efforts are linked to business goals and objectives.
“We are pleased to once again be honored by Training on their stellar list of 125 global training organizations,” said Mahnaz Javid, senior vice president of Global Learning and Talent Management at Avanade. “This award proves Avanade’s ongoing commitment to the professional development of our people. With the right training, our people remain on the leading edge of their technical and consulting skills, enabling them to meet customer demands and deliver innovative solutions that solve many of the challenges businesses face today. We continually expand and improve our vast training and professional certification programs. This ensures that employees have exciting opportunities to grow their differentiated skills and realize their full potential whilst helping customers realize the best results possible on the Microsoft platform.”
Training needs have also evolved as consumer technologies become engrained in the workplace. According to Avanade’s latest survey of nearly 600 C-level executives, business unit leaders, and IT decision makers, more than one-third of businesses (35 percent) are investing in training for all employees to better support consumer technologies in the workplace in the next 12 months.
