​CIRSA is a world leader in the gaming and leisure sector.  Its platform had been developed on one which was becoming obsolete.  CIRSA needed to identify an alternative platform that would work with newer versions of the Oracle database and other technologies used within the business.

​Solution
​CIRSA chose to a .NET platform and engaged Avanade to help implement.  Avanade worked closely with the client to deliver a reliable and scalable platform and to ensure that best practices for software lifecycle management using Microsoft tools were implemented.

​Results
Avanade has delivered CIRSA a reliable, scalable platform, customised for ‘smart client’ applications.  Implementing a .NET platform enables CIRSA to choose the most appropriate implementation model for each specific demand ie web, WinForms, mobile devices, etc.  It also provides the client with Microsoft tools to manage the entire life cycle of the software and compatibility with the latest versions of Oracle and other existing systems such as SharePoint®.
