Business Situation
Farstad did not have a solution or common way of managing its chartering process. After having defined the common requirements, they engaged Avanade to implement Dynamics™ CRM as their global, centralized chartering solution.
Solution
Dynamics CRM has been configured to store chartering information, containing detailed information about the contracts, rates, vessels and periods. Sales Order is used to store periodically invoice information. This in addition to the basic CRM functionality
Results
Farstad is now able to store and handle chartering information in one common solution, share data amongst all users and enable easier analysis of information through contract overview and utilization reports. The solution ensures that all required chartering information is precisely entered in a structured way, giving a high quality of the information. The new system supports Farstad’s vision of being best when it comes to quality.
