Avanade manages TDC's employee portal to make it more effective
Business Situation
​TDC’s employee portal was slow, buggy and lacking in features. It needed to fix and upgrade the portal to improve employee satisfaction with the system.
Solution
​Avanade began the project by fixing the problems that was causing poor performance – speeding up performance and fixing the bugs. This was done with by a rewrite of the code to ensure a 'catch all' of the bugs left from the initial development of the Portal. With an Avanade consultant on site one day a week, supported by a small team in our offshore delivery unit in India, we can maintain a close relationship with the client and ensure a ready, and responsive, service capacity.
Results
​For TDC, employee satisfaction is a top priority. Therefore, an easy-to-use, efficient and fully-functional portal is an essential requirement, as it helps the company communicate with its employees. The communications and HR department are very happy with the results thus far.
