​Trebuchet’s system for tracking orders was difficult to use, as its sales orders could contain multiple vendors. The system also made it challenging for managing invoice flow and goods on behalf of their customers.

​Avanade implemented a Microsoft Dynamics AX solution for Trebuchet  covering the Nordic countries. The solution uses electronic data interchange (EDI) providing electronic documentation management, strong handling of logistics and it’s easy to modify. The solution enables Trebuchet to manage each client  and their customers by flexible setups in the system and with tools that make it possible to be compliant with different client and customer requirements.

​This Microsoft Dynamics AX solution allows Trebuchet to order from stock anywhere within the company. The solution supports Trebuchet to enable a totally integrated supply chain where flows of information, flow of goods and flow of cash are consolidated on behalf of multiple clients (4PL) .  Trebuchet’s business segment is supply chain solutions and services for global brand owners and importers within fast moving consumer goods. The complexity of business  processes can now  be  handled more efficiently through a consolidated and streamlined system set up  resulting  to less overheads and reduced costs base for the clients.
