​Business Situation
​Etera needed a new sales support tool that worked with the rest of their Microsoft infrastructure. They needed it to improve the sales process and provide better customer service. Etera already used a tool using non-Microsoft technology.
​Solution
​Avanade proposed a solution that was perfectly aligned with their Microsoft-based enterprise architecture. This maximised the benefits of ‘out of the box’ Microsoft technology and promised a good level of reusability.
​Results
​The new sales support tool allows sales staff to interact more efficiently and productively with customers, increasing sales and customer satisfaction. In addition, the project has allowed Etera to move a significant part of its sales IT function to the Microsoft platform, in line with the company’s IT strategy.
