Business Situation
Etera needed a new sales support tool that worked with the rest of their Microsoft infrastructure. They needed it to improve the sales process and provide better customer service. Etera already used a tool using non-Microsoft technology.
Solution
Avanade proposed a solution that was perfectly aligned with their Microsoft-based enterprise architecture. This maximised the benefits of ‘out of the box’ Microsoft technology and promised a good level of reusability.
Results
The new sales support tool allows sales staff to interact more efficiently and productively with customers, increasing sales and customer satisfaction. In addition, the project has allowed Etera to move a significant part of its sales IT function to the Microsoft platform, in line with the company’s IT strategy.
