As COO, Andrew oversees Avanade’s global business operations. In this role, Andrew drives integration across Avanade’s geographical and functional entities focusing on streamlining operations in support of the company’s total customer focus. Andrew joined Avanade in 2000 as General Manager, Europe. He established Avanade’s business across the continent and, while General Manager, built a strong European business not only in the original countries in which Avanade was established, but also opened businesses in the Netherlands and the Nordic countries. Prior to joining Avanade, Andrew was a Partner at Accenture where he spent 15 years leading enterprise-wide IT projects for customers in a variety of business sectors including government, high-tech, consumer products, and retail. He also worked for Logica in the Netherlands. Andrew graduated with honors from Trinity College, Dublin, with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
Florin Rotar is Avanade’s Chief Technology Innovation Officer (CTIO), responsible for Avanade’s Innovation & Incubation function worldwide. As CTIO, he is responsible for developing and communicating the company’s technology vision both internally and externally and for supporting all aspects of the company's technology development.
Florin has a strong passion for innovation and fundamentally believes that smart solutions focused on innovation and industrialization are key to helping Avanade’s customers compete and realize the best results for their business. He has more than 20 years of experience on the Microsoft platform and a thorough understanding of the full life-cycle of information technology projects, having worked on numerous industry-leading projects around the world, especially in the Retail and Financial Services industries.
Prior to joining Avanade at its inception in 2000, Florin worked for Accenture and Procter & Gamble. He holds a Master’s of Science degree from Lund Institute of Technology.
After 11 years running Avanade’s US and Canadian businesses, Howard moved into his current role as the Chief Leadership Officer where he is responsible for setting the vision and guiding principles of Avanade’s leadership development program worldwide. In this capacity, he oversees the programs and tools the company uses to identify, measure, and develop its leaders.
Howard has more than 25 years of experience as a technical and business manager in corporate and professional services industries, and commercial and government software development environments. Prior to Avanade, Howard served as the General Manager of the South Pacific and Americas Region for Microsoft Consulting Services (MCS). He also worked at Digital Equipment Corporation, ITT's Advanced Technology Center, and Bell Laboratories.Howard holds a Bachelor's degree and Master's degree in Computer Science from Potsdam and Stevens Institutes respectively. He also earned his Master's in Business Administration from the University of New Haven.
As President of North America, Aziz is responsible for guiding the sales, delivery and operations of Avanade's largest business. Working closely with the US and Canadian leadership team, Aziz ensures consistent, high-quality results for Avanade's North American customers.A seasoned leader, Aziz came to Avanade following a career of more than 23 years with Accenture. During his time at Accenture, Aziz held a number of operating roles in North America and globally. Aziz was the global managing partner responsible for Accenture’s systems integration and technology consulting practice in Financial Services and Resources operating units. Aziz also played a leadership role in developing the Application Outsourcing practice in the Financial Services operating group. Prior to that, Aziz was the client group managing partner for Accenture’s Financial Service practice on the US west coast.In addition to management roles, Aziz consulted with numerous Financial Services clients in North America and Europe. These include Securities and Exchange Commission, SOFFEX, British Petroleum, Dollar General, BF Goodrich, Northwest Water, Commerzbank, E*TRADE, Visa and Charles Schwab. During his career with Accenture, Aziz lived and worked in Europe for almost 10 years. Aziz holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science from DePaul University, Chicago.
Mick leads the vision and direction of Avanade Global Service Lines. He guides development of the next generation of our business technology solutions and managed services, helping customers realize the best results from the Microsoft platform. Mick also oversees the Avanade Global Delivery Network, directing investments in our delivery capability and development of industrialized standards, methods and tools. Mick joined Avanade at its inception in May 2000 and has served in a number of corporate and operational positions since including Executive Vice President of Global Delivery, General Manager of Strategic Accounts, Vice President of Solutions, General Manager of Corporate Development, and Vice President of Strategy, Alliances, and Marketing. Prior to joining Avanade, Mick spent 10 years at Accenture, where he worked with communications, media, financial services, and healthcare clients in North America, Europe, and Asia. As an Associate Partner in the Strategic Services practice, Mick was responsible for leading teams and working with clients to envision and develop IT strategies and solutions.Mick has a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and a Master's in Management from Northwestern University.
Joe is responsible for Avanade’s worldwide HR strategy and initiatives.
Joe has been at Avanade since the company was formed in 2000 by Microsoft and Accenture and was among the group that launched Avanade’s Central Region, where he served as General Manager for five years. In addition, Joe spent one year as Avanade’s GM of Strategic Accounts, overseeing our business with a number of our largest US customers, and two years as Avanade’s .NET Practice Director, managing developers and overseeing delivery on .NET projects in the US-Central Region. Joe has also served as Director of Architecture and Infrastructure at Allstate Financial, where he was responsible for all application architecture, infrastructure planning, and operations. At Microsoft, Joe spent eight years in multiple positions, including Regional Technical Director, where he functioned as the chief technologist within the Central Region.
Joe graduated from the University of Toledo with a Bachelor’s degree in Business and an emphasis in Information Systems.
