Education Queensland in conjunction with Hands On Educational Consultancy Pty Ltd required a tool where they could provide high quality, structured professional development information online for teachers. Focusing on developing whole-school programs targeted at improving learning and teaching practices, collaboration and communication amongst all members of the institution’s community (teachers, administration, students, and parents).

Solution

PLOT (Professional Learning Online Tool) is a web-based portal designed to assist schools and academic institutions by providing best practice professional development to build teacher understanding and expertise in world-class pedagogy. It provides tools to build shared understandings and commitment; consistent, institution-wide approaches to learning and teaching; and to build strong professional communities of adult learners.
