In December 2004, the CEO of Fortis asked the performance management community to build an enhanced Management Information System (MIS) to support the monthly performance reviews with Fortis’ top management for all business lines.

Solution

Avanade deployed a complete and flexible Business Performance Management solution based on Microsoft SQL 2005 Business Intelligence suite, Microsoft Business Scorecard 2005 and Excel Reporting ad-hoc tools. This solution is supported by a collaborative and data management front portal based on .NET 2 and Windows SharePoint Services.
