What you’ll do
Partner with clients to understand business problems, opportunities, and priorities, translating them into clear data, analytics, and AI use cases
Combine business analysis and data product thinking to define scope, success measures, roadmaps, and requirements for data‑driven solutions
Analyse source systems, APIs, and data feeds, assessing data quality, structure, and suitability for analytics and AI use cases
Design and document analytics‑focused data models, including dimensional models and star schemas
Produce source‑to‑target mappings, business rules, and transformation logic to support data engineering and analytics delivery
Work closely with data engineers, architects, and AI specialists to ensure requirements are well understood and effectively delivered
Engage confidently with both business and technology stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and translator between worlds

This is a senior, client-facing leadership role - perfect for someone who thrives at the intersection of technical innovation, business strategy, and delivery excellence. From shaping deals and crafting solution roadmaps to mentoring delivery teams and leading Agentic AI and data platform engagements, this role is about creating real impact — at scale.
As an Architect within our Data & AI practice, you'll deliver Agentic AI and data platform solutions and services that make transformative change and deliver high value business outcomes. You'll engage in solutioning through gaining deep insight into our customers challenges and needs, taking responsibility for the technical design and solution for large scale analytical solutions. You’ll provide guidance and technical leadership to teams of data & AI engineers whilst building relationships with our clients to become a trusted advisor.
Key Responsibilities:
As an architect assigned to one or more client projects, you will work closely with delivery teams and client stakeholders to provide technical leadership, shape deals and propositions, drive architectural decisions, create plans and roadmaps, and produce design artifacts.
Play a key role in Avanade's sales process by creating solutions that innovate, inspire and are win new business. You’ll have responsibility for shaping the high-level design, estimates, and contractual details for client proposals in collaboration with other subject matter experts in the business.
As a senior member of the Avanade technical community, you will provide coaching and mentoring to motivate and inspire more junior colleagues from within your team and across the organization.
Have the ability to translate complex technical concepts and solutions and present them in easy to understand language and value based outcomes, to senior business stakeholders, technology leaders and internal sales teams.
Engage in early conversations with clients, partners and sales teams to support origination and deal qualification, requirements capture and solutioning, recommending best practices and approaches to achieve optimal outcomes, building strong relationship with clients to become the trusted advisor. Prepare and represent the solution in Deal Reviews and play an active role in client presentations, and negotiations with key client buyers.
Work collaboratively with the wider Data & AI leadership to shape our current and future offerings, accelerators, and background IP to support GTM activities.

1. Service Delivery Management:
· Take ownership for the effective delivery of commercially successful engagements within an ITIL and DevOps services framework.
· Oversee the end-to-end delivery of services to clients, ensuring that all service level agreements (SLAs) are met or exceeded.
· Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and address any issues promptly.
