Avanade appoints Eric Miquelon as North America President

Seattle/Chicago, January 20, 2021 – Avanade, the leading digital innovator on the Microsoft ecosystem and the recently announced 2020 Global Alliance Microsoft SI Partner of the Year for the 15th year, announced today that it has appointed Eric Miquelon, as the new Area President for North America.

Miquelon will be responsible for Avanade’s largest business, driving growth in the U.S. and Canada, managing strategy and operations implementation, and leading a team of more than 2900 professionals across 20 locations, seven Avanade Innovation Studios and four Avanade Innovation Centers. He will continue to report directly to Avanade CEO, Pam Maynard.

Miquelon joined Avanade from Accenture in 2003 and has held numerous roles that span client-facing, partner management and business leadership. Most recently, Miquelon served as the Global Solutions and Delivery Lead while also running Avanade’s Applications and Infrastructure business. Prior to that, he served as Chief Operating Officer for Avanade Europe. Earlier in his career, Eric served on the North America leadership team where he was responsible for business activities in the Midwest region.

Miquelon holds a degree in computer science from Northern Illinois University.
