TELENET CHOOSES AVANADE TO SUPPORT MICROSOFT DYNAMICS AX SOLUTION IN 34 STORES

Avanade, the leading provider of innovative digital services, business solutions and design-led experiences, has been chosen by Telenet to support its Microsoft Dynamics AX solution. For the next two years, Avanade will provide operational support for the 34 Telenet retail outlets with Dynamics AX

Initially, the cooperation will see Avanade takeover the current environment, including a transfer of knowledge from the existing partner. Avanade will then man the service desk six days per week and provide proactive monitoring of the Dynamics AX environment from the Avanade Development Center in India. This will enable potential problems to be detected and resolved at an early stage. Telenet will also call upon the consultancy services and retail experience of Avanade to improve the existing solution and optimize the integration of this into the Telenet back office environment.

“Due to the discontinuation of the AX activities of our Dynamics AX partner in 2015, we went in search of a new provider. It was particularly important that the new partner had experience with Dynamics AX in a retail environment and could advise us on this. We also required local helpdesk support from a reliable partner six days a week. Avanade was able to convince us not only of its thorough knowledge of Dynamics AX, but also of its knowledge and references in retail and the required helpdesk support,” says Kenny Pauwels, Team Manager for ERP at Telenet.
