Avanade, the world’s leading Microsoft expert, has appointed Megawaty Khie as the new Regional Managing Director for Southeast Asia, effective immediately.

In this role, Megawaty will be responsible for driving the growth of Avanade’s business and expanding Avanade’s position as the leading Microsoft solutions provider across the Southeast Asia region. Megawaty will also lead Avanade’s team of digitally skilled professionals and innovators across Southeast Asia, who combine global scale with local expertise, to create value and drive meaningful impact for customers, ecosystem partners and local communities in the AI era.

Based in Singapore, Megawaty will report to Bhavya Kapoor, President for Asia Pacific, Avanade.

Megawaty joins Avanade from Google where she led Channels and Strategic Partnerships for the Google Cloud business in Southeast Asia and launched Google’s Cloud Region in Jakarta (Indonesia) during her time as Regional Director for Indonesia and Malaysia. With 30 years of experience spearheading growth across the Enterprise, SMB and Consumer segments, Megawaty also held a variety of leadership roles at Microsoft, SAP, IBM, HP, Dell, and Singtel.

Megawaty holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Bachelor of Marketing.
