Avanade appoints Anna Di Silverio as Europe Area President
LONDON, AUGUST 31, 2020
Avanade, the leading digital innovator on the Microsoft ecosystem, announced today that it has appointed Anna Di Silverio, as the new Area President for Europe, effective September 1, 2020.
In this role, Di Silverio will be responsible for driving the growth of Avanade’s business, managing the implementation of our strategy and operations, as well as leading a team of 5,000 professionals across 16 countries in Europe. Di Silverio will continue to report directly to Pamela Maynard, CEO of Avanade.
Di Silverio joined Avanade in 2010 as General Manager of Italy. In 2015, she moved to Singapore to assume the role of Chief Operating Officer of Growth Markets (Australia, Brazil, Greater China, Japan, Malaysia and Singapore) and became Area President in 2016.
Under her leadership, Avanade has consistently achieved double-digit growth in Growth Markets, successfully established Digital Innovation Studios in Australia, Singapore and Japan, and expanded geographically into Osaka, Japan. Her unwavering commitment towards people and culture is demonstrated in the diversity of her leadership team which comprises more than 40 percent women leaders and a 61 percent increase in number of employees. In addition, Avanade has been recognized as Employer of Choice for Gender Equality in Australia and Top 50 Best Places to Work in Brazil.

Di Silverio holds a degree in computer sciences from the University of Pisa.
