Dr. Elias Ekonomou is an expert in computer security and currently the subject matter expert in Decentralized Identity at Avanade. Elias loves to talk security protocols, compliance, privacy and the balance between security and usability. Previously a tenured academic, he taught software, web development, security and cryptography in the UK, China, and Myanmar (Burma), where he started one of the first international degrees of the country. Elias holds a PhD Computer Science in extremely lightweight security communication protocols.
