Three years ago, Microsoft introduced a new highly valued recognition as part of their Microsoft FastTrack program: The Microsoft FastTrack Recognized Solution Architect. This recognition was initially defined for Dynamics 365 experts but was extended to the Power Platform last year as well. It is a recognition from Microsoft’s own FastTrack Architects for those Partner Architects who “consistently exhibit deep architecture expertise and create high-quality solutions for Dynamics 365 and Power Platform FastTrack governed engagements”. These recognized architects need to have been involved as a lead architect on at least two projects and must have followed the very extensive FastTrack Bootcamps.

The FastTrack program from Microsoft itself ensures a smooth implementation of Microsoft’s Cloud Solutions for their clients, supported by their ‘Success by Design” approach. On most of our projects we ensure the involvement of Microsoft, leveraging their great and knowledgeable team. Working closely with Microsoft, we ensure to provide the best possible solutions for our combined clients.

In 2019, I was one of only three lucky people to get recognized for my work in the Finance & Operations space. It was a very impressive event, me being on stage at the Microsoft Business Application Summit with 2 other Finance & Operations (F&O) and 6 other Customer Engagement (CE) architects. The value of this recognition was high since I received direct access to Microsoft Leadership and first-hand insights into all Dynamics-related developments – it is still proving its value on a daily basis.

Last year, Avanade made the intend to get more employees recognized and today at the Microsoft Business Application Summit 2021 we met our goal. The good news is out of 117 recipients, 23 Avanade employees are being honored for their deep expertise on Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform today. This makes Avanade the largest recognized partner, a testament to our close Microsoft partnership applying their best practices for our clients. And you can be sure we will continue to grow our Avanade FastTrack community working closely with Microsoft and their FastTrack team.
