I was delighted to participate this week in Episode 2 of Envision, the digital series for business decision makers that Avanade is co-producing with Accenture and Microsoft.

Hosted by Stephanie Mehta, Editor-in-Chief of Fast Company, the episode was broadcast regionally in the Americas, APAC, and EMEA to connect business leaders from around the world and offer local perspectives during area breakout sessions.

To kick off the program, Microsoft Executive Vice President Jean-Philippe Courtois described five global challenges that are spurring dramatic innovation, along with four key digital trends he sees and how organizations can transform to stay ahead of the curve.

David Rhew, Global Chief Medical Officer at Microsoft, shared his thoughts on the future of healthcare, while Avanade Chief Growth Officer Craig Gorsline and Microsoft Chief Environmental Officer Lucas Joppa discussed how organizations can use their positions to drive sustainability outcomes and hasten action on climate change.

During a prerecorded segment on the employee experience, I was joined by Accenture Chief Leadership and Human Resources Officer Ellyn Shook and Marriott Global CHRO David Rodriguez, along with Jared Spataro, Corporate Vice President of Microsoft 365, in which we talked about how organizations can harness technology to enhance employee potential and well-being.

The program concluded with CNN's Fareed Zakaria, who described the new world he sees emerging following the COVID-19 pandemic, the widening digital divide, and the choices before us as leaders.
