Avanade wins Everest Group Dynamics 365 award 2023

We were delighted to be named, jointly with Accenture, as a leader in Everest Group’s Microsoft Dynamics 365 Services PEAK Matrix 2023 Assessment. Maintaining our position at the front of the pack is incredibly satisfying, as we’ve worked hard to continually improve both how we work with clients, and the value we create for them.

Delivering value
We were both particularly pleased to see how Everest rated us highly on value delivered, which Everest define as value delivered to the client based on customer feedback and transformational impact.

This is particularly important to us here at Avanade; so many organizations find themselves working with a provider who will simply provide their clients with a CRM or ERP implementation service, and ultimately, the client ends up disappointed to find that when a project ends, it’s not been as transformational as they had hoped, or they have failed to realize real business value. At Avanade, we solve problems – while we pride ourselves on our market leading Microsoft expertise, we also know how to translate our technical excellence into business outcomes, so we’re delighted that Everest have recognized this.

At OMICRON, a leader in designing safe and reliable testing, diagnostics and monitoring solutions for customers in the electric power industry, our work started with a people-focused approach to transforming its legacy ERP system, which then expanded to also include a CRM upgrade. Using this coordinated approach, the Dynamics 365 platform was launched in record time. With higher-quality, integrated customer data, employees now have a 360-degree view of both customers and the supply chain, helping them deliver a higher standard of service. If a customer is looking for a specific type of testing equipment for their electrical power systems, OMICRON employees now know immediately whether it’s available, when it can be delivered, and can make recommendations in real time.

At UNICEF Netherlands, with a clear goal to grow its donor base and income, leadership wanted to replace traditional fundraising methods with a single digital solution for data, finance and marketing. Working with Microsoft through our Tech for Social Good program, we helped design and implement an integrated ERP and CRM solution with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Insights, specifically customized for nonprofits. Machine learning and fast analytics give employees real-time insights to better engage donors, enabling UNICEF Netherlands to secure and expand its programs for children. With employees’ expanded visibility into donor activity, they’re able to boost fundraising to deliver more life-changing services for children. In just two years, the organization has doubled its funds raised through digital channels with its new donor engagement platform to do what matters more effectively.

Strategy and innovation
We also scored highly on vision and strategy and innovation and investments – acknowledging not only our own strength, but also the strategy and vision we bring to clients to take them beyond the simple delivery approach mentioned above. And of course, the appreciation of our IP, industry and domain knowledge is particularly pleasing, as we pride ourselves on bringing true innovation to clients that really makes a difference.

We’re unlocking the power of innovation to help ABB Turbocharging overcome its business and training challenges by exploring the use of new, game-changing technologies to keep its engineers up to date. We first introduced the company to Microsoft’s HoloLens 2 – an immersive mixed reality device that combines cloud and AI services. The goal is to help ABB Turbocharging ensure that the right skills are with the right people, at the right time, in the right place. By making real-time intelligence and accelerated decision-making a part of employees’ daily operations, this technology can:

  • Help reduce downtime, speed time to repair, improve service-level agreement compliance rates and increase productivity.
  • Enable employees to learn, communicate and collaborate more effectively.
  • Provide service engineers with access to company-specific guides from Microsoft Dynamics 365, which provide photos, videos, holograms and virtual connections to personalize training and make it more interactive.

In addition, step-by-step instructions inform engineers of the tools and parts they need to solve issues and how to use them. If additional support is needed while in the field, the user can immediately connect to an expert and collaborate using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Remote Assist, which is accessible on the same HoloLens headset.

Leading the pack
Our leadership position is testament to the experience and expertise of our professionals and the insights and innovations we bring to our clients on a daily basis.
